In a learning environment, Its fair to say that kids need visual stimulation, Murals in schools are revolutionising schools, and attitudes have risen in the past decade from proactive teachers and principals coming together, in harmony to make the school a better more positive productive space. I would have given an arm and a leg to see my school with cool colourful murals, murals of cartoon characters, comic book series like spider man, bat man, beavis and butthead, ren and stimpy, whales, dolphins, and more.
Theres a prolific street artist who's taking the charge in the Mural art school scene. his Names INDO the Artist and he's based in n northern NSW, He's on a mission to change the way schools look in northern NSW. "Im personally inspired by all the children books like the gruffalo, the high way rat, stick man, plus the new TV series Bingo, a boarder collie pu and his sister, mum and dad, they are very cute, funny and progressive. something modern parents can relate to.
INDO leans toward working with schools who are open to a creative interpretation, people who appreciate art, and see the value in making the walls a better place.
