POP ARTIST

Artwork Created by INDO the Artist 2015

The Pop Art movement was about blurring the social boundaries of low and high class. Its hard to
believe this movement started in the early 60's & is now recreated in the medium of street art.

This particular piece was created in celebration of Roy Lichtenstein's original. Using the grunge drip effects of spray paint & smearing the lipstick on the female. INDO has changed the conversation of the artwork, making this female appear more as a slut than an icon.
Indo saids" Its relevant to the now, inspired by Tinder, most girls are looking for love in all the wrong places".
